In a dominating display, the Edgewood Middle School Rams triumphed over the Aberdeen Middle School Eagles with a resounding 8-0 victory. From the onset, the Rams showcased their prowess, controlling the midfield and limiting the Eagles' chances. Goalkeeper Jake Paulson made a crucial save early on, setting the tone for the match. Christian Steinmore #12 opened the scoring just 4 minutes in, assisted by Dennis Vasquez #21. Brayden Crawford #15 doubled the lead 14 minutes later with an assist from Antonio Juarez #2. The Rams continued their onslaught, ending the first half with a commanding 4-0 lead, thanks to Steinmore's additional goals and a contribution from Juarez. The second half saw no respite for the Eagles as Darkina Cooper #7 and David Obeyisi #18 added their names to the scoresheet. Juarez also found the back of the net for his first goal of the season. Throughout the game, key players like Jon Davidge #19 showcased their tenacity and strategic play, ensuring the Rams' dominance. In a thrilling showcase of skill and determination, the Edgewood Middle School Boys Rams took on the Magnolia Middle School Mariners in a soccer showdown that had fans on the edge of their seats. The first half saw the Rams asserting their dominance with a relentless barrage of 14 shots on goal, while the Mariners struggled to keep up with only three attempts of their own. Thanks to the heroic efforts of Rams goalie and seventh grader Jake Paulson, who made a crucial save, along with the steadfast midfield and defense, the score remained deadlocked at 0-0 at halftime. As the second half unfolded, the Rams continued their relentless assault, wearing down the Mariners with nine more shots on goal. Then, in a burst of brilliance, center midfielder and eighth grader Mario Membreno Guevara unleashed a thunderous strike, breaking the deadlock and sending the crowd into a frenzy with just 3 minutes left on the clock. But the Rams were far from finished. With lightning speed, striker and seventh grader Christian Steinour seized an opportunity, slotting in another goal less than a minute later. And just when it seemed the Mariners couldn't endure any more, striker and seventh grader Darkina Cooper delivered the final blow, sealing the victory with seconds to spare. Throughout the game, the wingbacks, seventh grader Adesh Rana and eighth grader Dennis Vasquez, showcased their skill and determination, driving the ball up the sidelines and setting up countless scoring opportunities for their teammates. In the end, it was another resounding triumph for the Rams, with a final score of 3-0, elevating their season record to an impressive 2-2. With performances like these, the Rams are proving they're a force to be reckoned with on the soccer field.

In the thrilling clash between Edgewood and Havre de Grace, the first half was a whirlwind of action, with Edgewood dominating the field, launching a barrage of shots on goal, leaving Havre de Grace scrambling to keep up. Despite the relentless pressure, the first half concluded in a deadlock, 0-0, setting the stage for an explosive second half. Enter the dynamic duo of sixth-grader sensation Brayden Crawford (15) and seventh-grade maestro Christian Steinour (12). In a display of skill and synergy, Crawford found the back of the net, courtesy of an impeccable assist from Steinour, igniting the crowd with fervor. Not content with just one, Steinour seized the moment, netting two more goals, with Crawford returning the favor with a pinpoint assist for one of them. Their lightning-fast pace and precision left defenders in their wake as they showcased their undeniable chemistry, cementing their status as the stars of the match. But let's not forget the unsung heroes of the defensive line. Eighth-grade stalwarts Dennis Vasquez (21), Sam Oyebisi (5), Victor Finely (10), Gabriel Olatunde (4), and seventh-grade sensation Adesh Rana (25) stood tall, forming an impenetrable wall in front of the goal, thwarting every attempt by the opposition with finesse and tenacity. Their strategic positioning and tactical awareness were pivotal in stifling the opposing offense and launching swift counterattacks, turning defense into offense in the blink of an eye. However, victory was not without its tense moments. In the dying embers of the game, Edgewood Middle School found themselves facing a penalty kick, a nerve-wracking moment that could tip the scales. Despite a valiant effort, the ball found the back of the net, narrowing the scoreline to 3-1. Yet, this minor setback failed to dampen the spirits of the Edgewood faithful, who erupted in cheers as the final whistle blew, sealing their hard-fought triumph. A hearty congratulations is in order for the entire Edgewood Middle School Boys soccer team, whose collective effort and determination propelled them to victory, leaving an indelible mark on the pitch and etching their names in the annals of sporting glory.
